About

About Me

A nomad at heart, my journey began in a small town in North East India—and I have rarely stayed in one place since.

For decades, I have called Kolkata home. Yet, for most of the year, life takes me across the Middle East. My professional journey began in New Delhi and gradually led me through Muscat, Manama, Kuwait City, Dubai, and Doha. Today, I find myself in Riyadh—adding another chapter to this ongoing journey.

This blog was born out of a simple need—to pause and reflect.

Here, I write about life as I experience it: through memory, culture, and the quiet, often overlooked stories that shape who we are. Some pieces are deeply personal, some observational, and others inspired by moments that linger longer than they should.

More than anything, I value the connections this space creates. Knowing that someone, somewhere, pauses to read, reflect, or relate—that is what makes this journey meaningful.

What I Enjoy

Interests
Reading, writing, photography, art, architecture, travelling, cricket, and tennis.

Favourite Films
Dil Chahta HaiAndaz Apna ApnaWelcome, the Feluda series, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara—and anything that carries a touch of thoughtful humour.

Music
Slow rock, jazz, sentimental classics, and the evergreen melodies of Kishore Kumar.
On certain days, it’s all about ghazals—especially Ghulam Ali and Jagjit Singh.

Books
The Fountainhead remains a personal favourite for its perspective and intensity.
